CHICAGO, Ill. (WRN) — A Wisconsin delegate to the Democratic National Convention says the ticket of Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has charged up the party.
“I am excited for everybody, because we have two people that are for everybody, and they want to do good for the United States of America and all of its citizens. So I’m just, I’m excited for what they’re going to bring for all of us and the benefits it will be for all of us.” said Connie Cobb Madsen, of Racine.
Madsen says it will be critical for young voters and Black men to turn out and vote in her city and across Wisconsin, if the Harris Walz ticket is to carry the state in November.
