An update in the search for a missing Siren-area woman, and authorities are asking the public to check their property and any cameras for signs of the woman.
Burnett County Sheriff Tracy Finch said 22-year-old Ashley Janisch walked away late Sunday from her group home on New Moon Drive, east of Siren. She is described as 5-foot 7-inches tall, 200 pounds, with blue eyes and curly brown hair. She has pierced ears and wears red-framed glasses. She may have been wearing a blue fleece and white Crocs shoes. She has cognitive delays and sometimes jumbles her words.
Authorities have searched the area with drones and K9 teams, and are continuing to search for Janisch. They are now asking residents to check their properties and outbuildings and any security or trail cameras.
