MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — He’s staying in the race. President Joe Biden in Madison on Friday, attempting to reassure worried Democrats that he’s still fit to serve a second term.
“What do you think – you think I’m too old to restore Roe v Wade to the law of the land?” Biden asked. “You think I’m too old to ban assault weapons again? To protect Social Security and Medicare? To get child care, elder care for working families in need in the nation? To make billionaires finally start to pay something beyond 8.2% of the take rate?”
Biden spoke at a middle school in the Democratic stronghold.
Wisconsin is a swing state which is critical for Biden’s reelection campaign.
