RICE LAKE, Wis. (WJMC) — Snow is in this weekend’s forecast and the Rice Lake Police Department is reminding residents to not park on city streets if it snows, so plows can clear the streets.
Due to a lack of precipitation, the winter street parking ordinance has been suspended. Rice Lake officers are issuing warnings this week to any vehicles parked on city streets between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. If it snows a plowable amount, tickets will be issued to vehicles parked on city streets during those hours.
