MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — The vice-president promotes apprenticeships at a Madison visit.
Kamala Harris was with apprentices at a construction site for Madison Metro.
“The work that is happening here really is a wonderful example of so many of our administration’s priorities, including the important collaboration between us at the federal level and leaders at the local level like the mayor of Madison,” Harris said.
Harris was joined by Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway.
“I just cannot state how important it is to have a partner in the White House who believes in cities,” Rhodes-Conway said.
The visit is the latest by administration officials in the critical state for Joe Biden’s re-election.
