MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — Wisconsin’s Supreme Court won’t redraw congressional maps. Bob Hague takes a look.

A unanimous court on Friday rejected a request to redraw the state’s eight congressional district lines ahead of the 2024 elections. The Justices didn’t offer an explanation for the decision to deny the petition from a group of Democratic voters, after the liberal majority had previously ruled the state’s legislative districts unconstitutional.

Six members of the state’s House delegation are Republican, two are Democrats. Democratic Attorney General Josh Kaul called the decision to not redraw the House maps disappointing.
