The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is encouraging the public to sign up for a race inspired by artist Bob Ross.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is encouraging the public to sign up for a race inspired by artist Bob Ross. Recreation Partnerships Section Manager Melissa Vanlanduyt says the Happy Little 5K benefits tree heath and protection across the state.
“What it is, it’s a virtual 5k. And so you can walk, hike, bike or roll your 5k anytime between Earth Day and Arbor Day,” Vanlanduyt said.
Registration is open until April 15th on the DNR’s website dnr.wi.gov.
